Confirmation classes begin in January with the Confirmation celebration service Late April early May

What does the process of confirmation look like?
Confirmation is a series of classes (think Sunday school) where students will learn more about their faith, learn the history of the Christian church, and more about the Methodist denomination. At the end of the classes, students will have an opportunity to decide if they would like to be confirmed in the church and profess their faith to the congregation on confirmation Sunday.

Mentors
Each student is asked to pick a mentor that will walk alongside them through the confirmation process. They will meet with their mentor four times anytime during the entirety of the confirmation process. These meetings should be outside of scheduled group confirmation meetings. This person should be someone your student trusts and is comfortable with, this person should not be a family member.
