On Saturday, October 10th, CHUMC volunteers will help build a Habitat for Humanity house for the Castaneda Family.  Brenda is a teacher’s assistant at the Autism Treatment Center and a receptionist at a senior living home.  Her daughter, Bianca, is a sophomore in high school, with hopes of pursuing a career in nursing.  They are looking forward to a new house with its many possibilities, such as a garden!  This year we are again a member of the Ecumenical Genesis group with several other churches and civic organizations in building this house for the Castaneda family. Bank of America is a corporate sponsor with our EG group. We plan to have volunteers from the congregation, the youth group ages 12 and up, and the United Methodist Men on October 10th.  UMM will provide lunch for volunteers.
