What to Expect
We understand how uncomfortable, confusing, and stressful it can be when visiting a church for the first time. At CHUMC, you and your family will feel welcome and included.
Arrival
We have plenty of parking, so there's no need to worry about getting a spot. The easiest way to arrive is off of Vance Jackson Rd. After you park, you can make your way to the Worship Center. It is located to the right of the front parking lot, and has a tall metal cross out front.
Hospitality
You will be greeted at the door and welcomed inside. At the welcome desk, you can learn more about our church and upcoming events. Restrooms are to the right, free refreshments to the left, and the sanctuary is straight ahead.
Childcare
Our Nursery is open and available during all Sunday worship services for little ones. During the 11:00 am service, Second Story is also available. However, we welcome all children to be in worship with their families! Activity packets (coloring pages, etc.) are available for children to use during worship. Pick them up at the back of the Sanctuary, or ask someone on the Welcome Team. If you would like to take advantage of our nursery, you can mention it to someone on the Welcome Team, and they can show you where to go.
Services
11:00 AM (Blended)
The blended is family oriented, and all welcome. It usually has around 160 people, and a welcoming and loving atmosphere.
8:45 AM (Traditional)
Our traditional service has a more personal feel and more hymns. With an average attendance of 30, this service is a great if you are looking for a small, tight-knit group.
Directions
You can find us off of Vance Jackson Rd. and Whitson Rd. The easiest way to enter is off of Vance Jackson Rd. at one of the driveways next to the large electronic sign. The worship center is the large building to the right of the front parking lot with a tall metal cross out front.
If you're riding the bus, we are on route 96 and 602 .
